Westaff Affiliate Named Largest Woman-Owned Business
Wednesday June 22, 1:55 pm ET

BATON ROUGE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 22, 2005--Westaff's affiliate in Baton Rouge, Lisa Coleman, was named the largest woman-owned business in the Louisiana Capitol Region by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, announced Westaff, Inc. (NASDAQ:WSTF - News), a leading provider of staffing services.

The honor, in the June 7 edition of the Report, recognized Coleman and Westaff's efforts to attract and retain quality jobs in Louisiana, provide quality temporary, temp to hire and career staffing to Louisiana businesses, and help guide individuals onto the right career paths.

Westaff Affiliate Owner Lisa Coleman said she is proud of what Westaff gives back to the Louisiana Capital Region, contributing to charities and working with local schools. The Louisiana affiliate has also grown over the years from an organization that employed a few staff members to one that now employs more than 1,000.

"We help place more than 1,000 people every year in the best possible jobs for them and for the companies, who need them," said Coleman, who has been owner of the Westaff franchise in Baton Rouge, Lake Charles and Lafayette since 1993.

"We truly care about both our staffing candidates and our client companies," Coleman added. "We do job specific and behavioral testing to recruit the highest quality candidates and find their best work options. We also take the time to really listen to our client companies and uncover their true staffing needs. We strive to take the worry out of hiring."

As for the future, Coleman has recently purchased the Westaff franchise in Lafayette. She is moving another office to a new location in Baton Rouge and in July will open an office in Livingston Parish/Walker.

"As we expand, our goal is to continue our tradition of integrity, honesty and fairness in all our business relationships," Coleman said.

Westaff, Inc. provides staffing services and employment opportunities for businesses in global markets. Westaff, Inc. annually employs approximately 150,000 people and services more than 15,000 client accounts from more than 200 offices located throughout the U.S., the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.
